Today's the day! I'll show up to your home ready to document some of the most precious moments between you and your family.
FAQs
Where will our session be?
A newborn session will be done in your own home. A location within 30 miles of the south side of Eau Claire is included, a travel fee is added after that.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THE SESSION?
I typically do most of the session in the master bedroom, living room, and nursery. So I do ask that those rooms be picked up but an entire top to bottom clean of the whole house is NOT necessary. I will help rearrange the locations as needed when I arrive.
what props do you use?
I do not use props, I use what is in your home and love to include special items so set those items out so we can make sure they are included!
what time should we have our session?
I recommend doing the photoshoot at 10 am or 1 pm whichever time has the best natural light in the majority of the house.
How many photos are included?
I don’t limit the amount of photos given, you will receive every edited photo. The minimum amount for a family session is about 70 photos.

Will you pose us?
As a means to make your photos feel authentic, I do not pose my clients. Instead, I provide prompts that ensure that I'm capturing a genuine moment between you and the people you love most.
when do we get our final gallery?
You should receive your final gallery four weeks after your session date.
What do we wear?
I give every family a style guide that explains styling, location ideas, and prep tips for the actual session. I also offer individual styling that can be as detailed as providing exact outfits and links for purchase or more flexible like offering a color palette to follow.
i don't want my photos on social media...
That's totally okay; you make the decision. I can send private sneak peeks if you do not want your family on social media.
How long does a session last?
Your session will last about 1.5-2.5 hours. The session is very relaxed and child led, so sometimes a session may finish a little sooner or take a little longer. The session includes feeding and comforting because those moments are beautiful too.
